Love Your Bike - cycle repairs, including a van-based mobile workshop

'Love Your Bike' operate a fully equipped and dedicated mobile workshop which visits you at your convenience (including call-out repairs for touring cyclists).   The repair centre base is at Higher Grimscott, Grimscott, Bude   EX23 9LU
(about 2km north of the A3072/B3254 junction at Red Post).

The proprietor is a Cytech Level 2 mechanic who, as well as providing the van-based repair service, also provides repair surgeries at certain regular locations/events each month.   Hence it is sensible to ring him before trying to visit the centre.

taxi services - in case you need them

Hopefully, you will not need them; however, it may be useful to have some contact details just in case you do (breakdown, getting tired, whatever).

Several Bude-based taxi services now have larger vehicles capable of taking a bike (some because they are also capable of taking a wheelchair).   This section currently lists just a few - more will be added as details of bike-carrying capabilities are determined.

Do make it clear that you have a bike to carry when requesting their service as they otherwise might send just a car.  Note also that there are several local taxi services that only have cars that cannot take bikes; they will not be listed here.
